The last time I cross-posted an article written by General President Hoffa there were questions of whether I should be doing that, if I had permission, and similar queries. I can understand the concerns. Though I have been around Kos for a while, I am not here regularly enough that you would remember me, at least that's what I am guessing.
My name is Richard Negri. I work for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in the Communications Department handling web initiatives. Once in a while I am asked to take an op-ed and help "syndicate" it as far and wide as possible. One of the stops I make on that route is Daily Kos.
The post below is about GM and Fiat/Chrysler, both of which got big bailout money, now grabbing for another piece ... and it is from workers delivering new cars. The deal is that they are looking for cost cuts from the top three carhauler companies, costs that could potentially put 5,000 workers out of a good middle class job -- not a good situation at all.
Please take a moment to read my boss' piece, which appeared first on Huffington Post earlier today. Comment and tell me your thoughts.
Thanks, and nice meeting you - again,
-Richard
